Megan Trebilcock
Dr Megan Trebilcock is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Acquired Brain Injury Communication Lab and a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
Megan’s work focusses on building stronger and connected communities that support communication. Her research targets long-term systems change through sustainable service models, community-driven initiatives, and universal communication accessibility.
She has achieved significant impact through the development and implementation of innovative and cost-effective service models supporting individuals with an acquired communication disability, specifically aphasia (language difficulties following an injury to the brain). As a Board Director of the Australian Aphasia Association, she has co-led the establishment of aphasia camps in Australia and works collaboratively with the aphasia community to support sustainable service improvement.
