Louise M Cleary
Louise Cleary is a Senior Speech Pathologist with 14 years’ experience in tertiary acute and rehabilitations hospitals. Her passion is stroke rehabilitation and implementation of innovative approaches to improve service delivery. Louise is an early career researcher and an advanced scope clinician who supports local and rural staff in complex swallow management. Louise is the site investigator of a Phase IIa adaptive clinical trial, Enhancing the hospital environment for aphasia Care and Recovery (EnhanCeR) conducted on the stroke rehabilitation unit at Osborne Park Hospital. She was the winner of the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Healthcare Group (SCGOPHCG) Allied Health New Investigator award in 2024 for Stage 1 and led to team to achieving the 2025 Charlies Foundation Bright Ideas Grant for Stage 3 of the TeleVFSS project.
